10 Things Tag

(Bonus fact: I love pretty hairstyles & pretty ornaments).

Soooo I was tagged to do this a loooooong time ago by Kassie (thanks so much, girl! :) ) and I'm fiiiiinally getting to it. xP 

Rules: 

1. List 10 things that make you happy. (Linking to them, sharing pictures, writing poems about them, telling jokes, etc. are all encouraged but not required.)

2. Tag 10 people who make you happy (and notify them of their tag).

So! Ten things that make me happy. :)

1. Talking with my friends. I love love love emailing, chatting, texting, FaceTiming, or Skyping my friends. That’s why I love blogs and social media so much! 

2. Laughing. I love to laugh! I love to hear people laugh. I love to laugh with people. I love laughter. 

3. Scottish folk songs. I love Scotland, to start with. I love the dialect. I love the drama and pathos of the songs, and their beauty and happiness. I don’t love all Scottish folk songs, but I love most. I love singing them and listening to people singing them. (I just love singing in general. I love hymns. Singing makes me happy—especially if I can sing with a good partner or accompanist. ;) )

4. Swinging. Swinging makes me feel so calm and serene. Perhaps it’s the quietness, or the wind, or that I have time to think... it’s always made me so happy. 

5. Water! I love water. It’s beautiful, refreshing, satisfying. It sounds amazing. It’s fun to play in. I love listening to water in all forms... the rain, the lake, the river, the water pouring into my water bottle, the fountain... it’s all so different and yet so similar. 

Bonus fact #2: I love looking at beautiful scenery. The trees and sky and grass and mountains and animals and everything. I particularly love the sky. 

6. Stories. Hearing stories, reading stories, thinking up stories, writing stories... happy stories, true stories, sad stories, dramatic stories, mysterious stories, humorous stories, interesting stories, imaginative stories... I love stories.

7. Roses. I looooooove roses. All kinds, all colours. But pink & red roses will always be my favourites. <33

8. Hoop earrings. Earrings are my favourite piece of jewelry and I particularly love hoops. And even more particularly, golden hoops. I don't know why, but they just satisfy me. They're perfect and round and golden and thin and dainty and elegant... <33

9. The colour purple. I love purple. I also really love blue. I love those two colours and I love how the mix and pour into each other...

I read this book online and I soooo want a real copy because it is gorgeous!! Look at the purple & blue mixing. 😍 Take a look at these images to see what I'm talking about... 

10. Swishy skirts! If you haven't noticed yet, I love beauty. And skirts are beautiful. The 1860s are my favourite clothing era... Just big poofy skirts make me happy, but lots of beautiful detailing can make me love it even harder.

I also absolutely love wedding dresses (though I hate when they're immodest) and pretty much any beautiful or fancy dress will make my heart happy if it's modest.
