Aaaaaand we have a random tag because I love tags. Like, a lot. So, I'm sorry if you don't. XP I found this tag on Mikayla’s blog and it looked so cool! I just had to do it. ;)

And now... let's get started!
What is one classic that hasn’t been made into a movie yet, but really needs to?
I don’t watch many movies. But I’m pretty sure this book hasn’t got a movie made about it. “Fighting the Flames” by R.M. Ballantyne. I love it soooooo much!! And it would be so exciting as a movie!
What draws you to classics?
The writing style. It is so old-fashioned and deep and well done and beautiful. We just don’t write books like that anymore.
What is an underrated classic?
“The Settlers in Canada” by Frederick Marryat. No one seems to know this book but it is a.m.a.z.i.n.g. So, so well written and so beautiful and so funny.
What is one classic that you didn’t expect to love, but ended up loving anyway?
I usually go into classics expecting to love them. So this is a tough question. *puts on thinking cap* *pulls it off 54 seconds later* The only one I can think of is “The New Treasure Seekers” by E. Nesbit. I wasn’t sure if I would love this one because I didn’t love the first book (though I did like & enjoy it a lot) and even the second one was a little too young for me. But I ended up enjoying it more than I expected.
What is your most favourite and least favourite classics?
*cries at how hard the question is* *clears up instantly realizing I have the answer to the first one* “Little Women” is my favourite classic. Hands down. 100%. My least favourite is... maybe “The House in the Mist” by Anna Katharine Green. It was just disappointing and depressing.
What is your favourite character from a classic?
Katy Carr from the What Katy Did Series is my favourite female character. She’s just soooo sweet and Godly and so much like me. And I love Lieutenant Worthington from the same series. (He’s not my favourite male character (#DymInglefordforever) but I love him and he’s amazing—manly, caring, kind, and perfect for *coughs and avoids a spoiler*).
What’s a popular classic that you felt wasn’t actually that great?
“Silas Marner.” Somehow I didn’t love it too much. It was kind of disappointing. I expected to love it and I didn’t. There was no character that I loved, and it was kind of drab... not particularly funny or beautiful or interesting. I intend to reread it, but I just don’t love it like I do most classics. Not now, anyways.
Who is your favorite classic author?
It's a tie between Susan Coolidge & Louisa May Alcott. I love their writing so much! It’s hilarious, beautiful, realistic, interesting, and true.
In your opinion, what makes a classic a classic?
A classic is a book written before 1920, in my opinion. (The Anne of Green Gables books are exceptions.) To me the word particularly relates to the period between 1810 and 1900. Because most of those books were deep, beautiful, well-written, with carefully crafted characters and plots. They still speak to us today. They are everlastingly beautiful. They are enduring. They are the books of "all time" instead of the books "of the hour."
Relating to newer books, what attributes does a book need to have in order to be worthy of the title “classic”?
"Newer books" here would mean books published after 1920. The Winnie the Pooh series, most of the Anne of Green Gables books (and some other L.M. Montgomery books), E.B. White's novels... those are classics. Why? Because they have the same attributes as the classics I have listed above. They made their way into that group by their sheer immortality. I think that's what it takes.... it needs to be everlastingly beautiful and speak to many people through the years.
And I tag...
Ryana Lynn, Kassie, Dessa, Rebekah Morris, & whoever else wants to do it!
